Abstract

The article focuses on strengthening a university’s capacity to support inclusive preschool and general education. The cooperation of international organizations, universities, schools and early education institutions plays an important role in the modern educational system.

In October 2021, UNICEF launched a series of training seminars for academic staff from nine universities on issues related to inclusive education, improving children's learning outcomes and promoting learning in a violence-free environment.

The article analyzes the seminar’s themes of drop-in and accelerated….etc) The main focus of the trainings/seminars was on drop-in and accelerated learning curriculum (or, adapted curriculum) for second chance education programs, universal instructional design and the use of more individualized teaching approaches according to the adapted curriculum. Within the framework of the course, university academic staff learned about such issues as curriculum implementation strategies, the CK-12 platform, safe learning environments and positive parenting.
